Song of Blood and Stone by L. Penelope

I’m about halfway through with Song of Blood and Stone and I’m enjoying it so far!!! I was a little nervous because I’ve seen some mixed reviews, but I’m really njoying the worldbuilding and magic. The romance is a little heavy handed at times, but it’s kinda adorable so I don’t mind it as much.

Recently Finished

Reign of the Fallen by Sarah Glenn Marsh

This was much more emotional than I expected and I appreciated that, but I wasn’t as enamored by the characters as I wanted to be. While I really liked Odessa, I didn’t really care about anyone else. That said, I’m still looking forward to the sequel and to see where the story goes.
