“People come in and out of your life. For a time they are your world; they are everything. And then one day they’re not. There’s no telling how long you will have them near.”
I just really needed a reread to get me out of an almost book slump limbo. I had been so unmotivated to read for abotu a week, but I figured it was the perfect time to revisit this after watching To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before when it premered on Netflix. The movie was so good and I want to go back into this world so I new it was the perfect reread choice. I didn’t really feel like a full review was in order, and I feel like jotting down thoughts is a perfect way to review rereads, so here are some random thoughts from when I was reading…
- I love Peter K and Lara Jean, they are precious.
- Kitty and Lara Jean scheming to get their dad a date is amazing.
- I liked seeing more of Lara Jean’s history with Gen, Chris, Peter, and John Ambrose
- The hot tub video is so much more traumatizing than I remembered
- Stormy is a force and I aspire to be her
- I hate the dumb fights, insecurities, and lies of omission but they’re so realistic and well done
- Playing Assassin is the most perfect thing ever
- Lara Jean should definitely be a party or event planner. She’d kill at it
- The USO party!!!!!
- Lara Jean and John Ambrose kinda break my heart
I read this is less than a day and it just put me in the best mood and I want to read mroe now. I love this series and it can alwasy put a smile on my face, even if it does break my heart at times. I’m definitely going to reread Always and Forever, Lara Jean soon.
