CURRENTLY READING
The Darkest Star by Jennifer L. Arentrout
I am kinda really excited about returning to the Luxen world and seeing what Luc’s story entails. I love Jennifer L. Armentrout’s books because I always fly through them and have the best time reading them. And I expect The Darkest Star will be no different.
Recently Finished
Pride by Ibi Zoboi

It’s a truth universally acknoweldged that when rich people move into the hood, where it’s a little bit broken and a little bit forgotten, the first thing they want to do is clean it up.”
This was such an enjoyable retelling! I loved the commentary on gentrication and Zuri exploring what home means to her. I thought the modernization was perfect and I loved seeing the different relationships develop through the story!
READING NEXT
The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton
Sadie by Courtney Summers
Pride by Ibi Zoboi
So both of these are roll-overs from last week, but I know I’m going to reach for one of these next. I really want to give more adult books a try (The Seven ½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcaste) and I’m kinda in the mood for a mystery (The Seven ½ Deaths & Sadie). Or at least a change up from contemporary and fantasy.
Have you read any of these books? Are they on your TBR? What are you reading right now? Share your thoughts below!
I got an ARC of Pride at BookCon and am really interested in picking it up soon. I’ve been hearing good things about it, which makes me excited. I’m glad to see you enjoyed it as well!
