The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton

The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle

I’m glad to finally be starting this and getting into a fall mood with this murder mystery story (even if it is still like 90° here). I thought the first 50 pages were a little slow, but I’m really liking the story now. I think the non linear timeline works so well and create more tension. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Always and Forever Lara Jean by Jenny Han

Always and Forever, Lara Jean (To All the Boys I've Loved Before, #3)

My reread of one of my favorite contemporary series is over and I loved it just as much as the first time. Always and Forever, Lara Jean put me in such a great mood and a big smile on my face.

500 Words or Less by Juleah del Rosario
The Deepest Roots by Miranda Asebedo

500 Words or LessThe Deepest Roots

500 Words or Less is a novel told in verse about a girl who writes college admissions essasy for her classmates. Novels in verse are always such quick reads, I& I’ve had good luck with them so far. Unusual friendship stories that are vaguely magic are my aesthetic and I can’t wait to get to The Deepest Roots. Plus, the cover is beyond stunning.
