Sawkill Girls by Claire Legrand

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Furyborn, Claire Legrand’s earlier 2018 release, but I’ve heard wonderful things about Sawkill Girls. And I’m a sucker for friendship stories so I’m very excited. Plus it will be the perfect get-into-falltime read.

The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy by Mackenzi Lee

The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy was such a fun and quick book to read! While I did have some issues with Felicity and Johanna, I really loved seeing their friendship develop and weathered the hijinks they get up to. Plus, seeing Monty and Pecry was fantastic and they were so adorable.

READING NEXT

I’m going to leave this blank for know because I really don’t know what I want to read next. I know normally I’d put a few of the options I’m considering (What If It’s Us, A Very Large Expanse of Sea, Seige and Storm) but I really could go anyway and I think I need to see how I’m feeling after I finish Sawkill Girls.
