CURRENTLY READING
Bloodwitch by Susan Dennard
Having liked this series so much more than I expected after my first attempt at reading Truthwitch, I’ve very excited to see where the story goes and to learn more about Aeduan.
RECENTLY FINISHED
The Women of Brewster Place by Gloria Naylor
The first book of my Black History month TBR is complete and I loved it just as much as the first time I read it. This is such a powerful character study of community, family, and identity among different Black women who live in Brewster Place. Such a stunning book.
READING NEXT
Brown Girl Dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson
Monster by Walter Dean Myers
Two acclaimed stories are next up on my Black History Month TBR. Both told in unique formats: an autobiographic novel told in verse, and the other told in a screenplay format, I can’t wait to pick one of them up!
Have you read any of these books? Are they on your TBR? What are you reading right now? Share your thoughts below!
