The Girl the Sea Gave Back by Adrienne Young | Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

The Girl the Sea Gave BackSix of Crows (Six of Crows, #1)

I’m continuing on my fantasy train with this companion novel to Sky In the Deep – a viking-inspired story with a lot of rich culture and action – that I’m enjoying so far! Six of Crows is a re-read for me. It’s been a while since I read it and I remember liking it, but since I’ve read the Grisha trilogy now I’m excited to see if my opinions change.  And if I’ll end up liking it more than the Grisha books.

Romanov by Nadine Brandes

I really had a good time with ROMANOV. Learning more about Russian history (and not basing it on a fantastic 90s movie) was super interesting and kept me engaged.

Unpregnant by Jenni Hendricks & Ted Caplan

I thought this sounded like a super relevant book given the laws and challenges surrounding women’s rights in many parts of the country, so this sounded like a timely book.

Have you read any of these books? Are they on your TBR? What are you reading right now? Share your thoughts below!
