Hungry Hearts: 13 Tales of Food & Love ed. by Elsie Chapman & Caroline Tung Richmond
After not reading an anthology all year, this is my second in a month. I thought this just sounded lovely and I like that the stories are connected. Plus this happens to be a perfect pick for the BuzzWordathon this week.
A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin
I wanted a new book that felt like a reread and wouldn’t pull a ton of focus so this was a perfect choice because the plot is so familiar because of the show (at least so far). My one complaint is that I think the narrator is horrible.
Red, White, & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
I tried listening to this on audio months ago and could not get into it for the life of me. It almost feels like a fever dream because I remember nothing and my reaction was so drastically different than everyone else (plus it disappeared from my library app for a while I think, or at least I couldn’t find it.) but I’m excited to give it another go and hopefully enjoy it this time around.
Have you read any of these books?
Are they on your TBR?
What’s the new release you’re most excited for?
