“Some people were always meant to be heroes.
Just like some people were always meant to be villains.”
This series is so much fun. It’s got incredible amounts of action that keeps the pace moving quickly and endearing characters who you love (or love to hate). It’s a complex political world where no one is really right and everyone is still trying to figure things out and look out for themselves and their people (often at the expense of otehrs).
I’m happy we got a lot of answers and resolutions, and as you would expect in a superhero story, not all of them are happy ones, but they are for the most part satisfying. I think I saw Ace less as a villain and more a boogeyman – he just got too big/powerful too quickly. And I thought the epilogue was stupid and more of the side characters remain one dimensional. But the series is just so much fun and I get so engrossed that I don’t care a whole bunch about how well the story is formulated – I’m just looking for a good time and this series delivers.
