I’ve read so much over the last month since self quarantining I should probably bump up my goodreads goal for the year. Here’s how my April looked reading and blogging wise!
As always click on the title to read my review. And all the thanks to Romie @RomieWeDeserveLoveΒ for the rep indicators. TheΒ π³οΈβπ means lgbtq rep, βΒ means major characters of color, andΒ πΈΒ means mental illness, disability, abuse, or trauma rep. Iβm addingΒ Β πΒ which will indicate my rereads,Β Β π§Β for my audiobooks, πΒ for non-fiction and true crime, &Β βΒ for books I DNF’d. Hopefully I won’t have to use that last one a lot.

Least Favorite Book
My only DNF in an otherwise productive month, but there was nothing in this story that worked for me.
Favorite Book
Yes, I count my rereads as favorite options (but I’d probably pick Roomies is I had to do a new-to-me read.)

I think it was because 1) I always had an audio book going, 2) I read a lot of romance which I always fly through, 3) I feel like most of the books were relatively short between 300-350 pgs., and 4) I had nothing else to do so I was constantly reading.
I’m genuinely surprised at how much I actually read though. When I was tallying everything I almost didn’t believe it.

It’s definitely impressive! You know, I really should get onboard with audiobooks. It would help me speed through my reading. I’m just super old fashioned – I like to feel the pages between my hands and smell the paper. Everyone raves about the audiobook for Daisy Jones and the Six so I’m thinking I’ll need to give it a try! β€

I really loved that one. It took me a while to get into audiobooks. I started by rereading some favorite books/series so it wasn’t an unfamiliar story, i think it made it easier.
