Four Days of You and Me by Miranda Kenneally

Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3.5 Stars)

This was an adorable and cozy book that was just so much fun to read. I loved seeing Lulu and Alex’s relationship develop on their class trips all throughout high school. It was cool seeing so many familiar sites in the earlier trips, and so many wishlist bucketlist places in the later ones. Lulu and Alex have their ups and downs, but I liked seeing how their relationship changed through the years. And Lulu’s friendships with her Grace and Max were wonderful. I feel like we got more development in the beginning and the last third or so was more rushed and simple – but still enjoyable. Another great Miranda Kenneally book!

Evidence of the Affair by Taylor Jenkins Reid

WOW.

It’s kinda of amazing that so much can happen in such a short amount of time. And I honestly can’t believe how invested I became into these people lives. If you’re looking for a great short story that will take you no time at all to read, look no further.

Aurora Rising by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff

What an incredible, action-packed read! I’m not gonna lie, I picked this up because I stumbled upon the cover for book 2 and I felt an immediate need to read the first book, and I am not disappointed! From the opening, we get high intense action that doesn’t let up at all. I wasn’t expecting a POV for each character, but I really liked having it – getting to see things from their perspective lets you get to know them quickly. And they all have really great humor that blends well together. Auri being out of time lets us learn things along with her, so I never felt like anything was an info dump. I also really enjoyed the buildup between Auri and Kal and am excited to see it explored more soon! I’m also looking forward to learning more about some of the alien species in the future too!

Roomies by Christina Lauren

How many ways can I say cute, adorable, and squeal-worthy without loosing all meaning? Roomies is maybe the funnest Christina Lauren book I’ve read. There was so much humor and romantic tension. I loved every second. Holland and Calvin have wonderful chemistry and I really loved seeing Holland’s relationships with her uncles. The weakest part of the story was the weird/very bad miscommunication that happened near the end of the story when Calvin’s mom and sister visit. I feel like it wasn’t really resolved on page and I just have some question still. But overall I had the best time reading this – lots of laughs and swoony moments! What more could I want.
