Another Sunday, another book tag.
This week I was feeling a little nostalgia, so I found this 90’s Movie tag over at Bookmark Your Thoughts and knew it would be perfect to do!
SHE’S ALL THAT
Name a book couple that is an odd pairing but they still fit perfectly
Well Met by Jen DeLuca | Straight-laced meets carefree is always a couple combo I love!
10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU
A book/series that you have a love/hate relationship with
The Folk of the Air series by Holly Black | I did not like book 1 at all really, and I only decided to continue with the series because of FOMO when the last book was released. But, in a happy surprise I like book 2 quite a bit. I immediately read the 3rd book and thought it was just okay, so the whole spectrum is covered by this series.
A character that is totally clueless but you love them anyway
Evie O’Neal from The Diviners series by Libba Bray | Evie immediately came to mind for this prompt, and while she can be a bit clueless, she is brave, loyal, and ambitious.
Name a book that made you cry
All Your Perfects by Coleen Hoover | This was the first Colleen Hoover book I picked up and it was an emotional one.
A book that makes you laugh
I’ll be the One by Lyla Lee | I still can’t stop talking about this 2 month later.
CAN’T HARDLY WAIT
A book with a crazy party
Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender | Ezra loves a good party and is not afraid to host them frequently.
Name a character you can never fully trust
Andrew Minyard from the All for the Game series by Nora Sakavic | Yes I just read this series a million years late, but I can confidently say you never know what you’re gonna get from Andrew.
DRIVE ME CRAZY
Name your favourite “boy next door” or “girl next door” couple
Beach Read by Emily Henry | I mean they’re literal neighbors.
A book with a memorable villain
Renegades trilogy by Marissa Meyer | Honestly, I think you can see a lot of villains in the story depending on who’s side your on: Anarchists vs Renegades.
Name a book with witches
The Secret Circle by L.J. Smith | I figured why not throw it back old school with a 90s paranormal book too!
