T10T | Fall 2020 TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature formerly hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and is currently hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl

This week’s topic is all about the books I’m planning on reading this upcoming Fall season. I’m doing a list of some ARCs and newer releases and one backlist. But all are ones I’m very excited for.

As always, click the title to go to the book’s Goodreads page and add them to your TBR!

The Code for Love and Heartbreak by Jillian Cantor

The Code for Love and Heartbreak

This just sounds super cute. A matchmaking app for compatibility goes awry because romance isn’t always predictable.

Chasing Lucky by Jenn Bennett

Chasing Lucky

A mash-up for childhood friends to lovers and opposites attracts makes this a must read for me.

The Truth Project by Dante Medema

The Truth Project

1) I have not read a novel-in-verse in way too long. 2) this sounds like a deeply emotional family story that I’m sure to devour.

All Stirred Up by Brianne Moore

All Stirred Up

This sounds dramatic and addicting and I not I won’t be able to put it down.

You Were Never Here by Kathleen Peacock

You Were Never Here

Small town stories are great. Small town mystery stories are made for fall.

The Night Swim by Megan Goldin

The Night Swim

I don’t know why, but podcasts in mystery/thrillers really works for me – so I hope this one does too.

The Thief by Megan Walen Turner

The Thief (The Queen's Thief, #1)

I know the sixth and final book in the series is coming out in October, and since all the released books are on sale right now, I thought it was the perfect time to pick it up!

The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix

The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires

This just sounds super fun and a little campy.

When No One is Watching by Alyssa Cole

When No One is Watching

Pitched as Rear Window meets Get Out, this mystery about the gentrification of Brooklyn sounds like a perfect fall read.

The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Ardern

The Bear and the Nightingale (Winternight Trilogy, #1)

I’ve put this off for 2 winters, so maybe if I read it in the fall, I’;; actually pick it up, lol.
