Book Tag | Halloween Song Book Tag

Another Sunday, another book tag.

This week’s tag is all about celebrating the Halloween spirit by doing this tag post about some great seasonal songs. I saw @SiobhansNovelities do this last year and now I finally have the chance to do it!

Thriller | A book that was an absolute page-turner

Beartown (Beartown, #1)

This was such a wonderful and impactful story, I could not stop listening.

Somebody’s Watching Me | A book that gave you the serious creeps

When No One is Watching

Super engaging and fast paced, with real-world issues at it’s core makes this a nerve-racking read.

Vampire | A book you hated so much it was soul-sucking (i.e incredibly tedious to get through)

The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires

Yes I am counting a book I DNF’d here because it was so uninteresting that I couldn’t make it through.

I Put a Spell on You | A book featuring witchcraft or magic

Cemetery Boys

I love all things magical, but it can hard finding a witchcraft focused story, but this one had plenty, with a strong family at it’s center.

This Is Halloween | Your favourite treat/snack to eat while reading

coffee all day, every day.

Time Warp | What book or books do you like to return to at this time of year?

I’m a big fan of mysteries and thrillers all autumn long. They just have the right atmosphere.

Hungry like the Wolf | A book you loved so much, you devoured

Now That I've Found You

This was such a perfect one-sitting read that was so cute.

The Adams Family | A book featuring a dysfunctional family

Clap When You Land

Secrets abound in this wonderful story from Elizabeth Acevedo about families and forgiveness.

Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps) | A book genre that you are scared or intimidated to pick up

I don’t know if non-fiction is intimidating or just uninteresting to me.

The Twilight Zone | A book with a completely different and unique premise

The 7Β½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle

A time-twisted tale of murder and secrets. It could be a little hard to follow at times, but the fluid timeline was super innovative and interesting.

I hope everyone has a happy halloween!

Oh what a fun tag! I would love to read Now That I’ve Found You and Clap When You Land!
I’ve heard a lot of good things about cemetery boys too, but that’s the kind of genre that’s intimidating to me, so I’m not sure I’ll every pick it up.
I really liked reading your answers! πŸ™‚
