A Universe of Wishes edited by Dhonielle Clayton
About Tomorrow by Abbi Glibes

A Universe of Wishes: A We Need Diverse Books AnthologyAbout Tomorrow

I haven’t read an anthology in way to long, so I’m very happy to be reading A Universe of Wishes. I’ve only read about 4 stories, but I’ve found some stories I like so far, so I’m counting it a win. About Tomorrow is a emotional second chance romance that’s super easy to read, which is one of the reasons I picked it up to read alongside the anthology.

The Two Lives of Lydia Bird by Josie Silver

The Two Lives of Lydia Bird

A surprisingly funny and emotional read. I liked the dual timeline/alternate realities, and I appreciated the raw emotion that was present throughout the story. But I do think the ending was a tad rushed for my taste.

A Sky Beyond the Storm by Sabaa Tahir
This Time Next Year by Sophie Cousens

A Sky Beyond the Storm (An Ember in the Ashes, #4)This Time Next Year

I’m excited to see what happens in the finale for a series I’ve grown to love more with each book. And This Time Next Year sounds like it has potential to be a cute wintery read.

Have you read any of these books?
Are they on your TBR?
What’s the new release or backlist you’re most excited to pick up?
