I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised by my reading in this first month of 2021. I read a lot of books that I really enjoyed so I am very excited to how the year has started out – at least reading wise.
As always click on the title to read my review. And all the thanks to Romie @RomieWeDeserveLove for the rep indicators. The π³οΈβπ means lgbtq rep, βοΈ means major characters of color, and πΈ means mental illness, disability, abuse, or trauma rep. Iβm adding π which will indicate my rereads, π§ for my audiobooks, π for non-fiction and true crime, & β for books I DNF’d. Hopefully I won’t have to use that last one a lot.

Least Favorite Book
Lore by Alexandra Bracken
I just wanted so much more from this story and I found the worldbuilding to be unfortunately lacking, which was very sad for me.Β
Favorite Book
A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire by Jennifer L. Armentrout
I’ve missed reading paranormal romance stories and this one was so much fun and I loved every second of it.Β

First Lines Fridays
I had every intention of doing these this month, but time literally just got away from me and I kind forgot. But they will be back next month.

Just a quick question I was curious about, would y’all like for me to include any other media (music, TV shows, movies) that I consume during the month or should I stick to just bookish things. Let me know what you think!Β
I got declined for Lore, seeing this makes me glad βΊ

I did too, haha. I’m just lucky I was first in line for an ebook from my library – but I so so disappointed.

You read SO many good books this month – I’m hoping to get to You Have a Match and The Ex Talk this month! As a TV/movie person myself, I’d love to see you include any shows or films you watched.
