May 2021 Wrap-Up

I had a slow start to the month reading wise – but the 15th I had only read 8 books and I was feeling almost slumpy. But something pick-up and i ended up reading a ton this month and I’m super happy about it!

As always click on the title to read my review. And all the thanks to Romie @RomieWeDeserveLove for the rep indicators. The πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ means lgbtq rep, β˜€οΈ means major characters of color, and 🌸 means mental illness, disability, abuse, or trauma rep. I’m adding πŸ“š which will indicate my rereads, 🎧 for my audiobooks, πŸ“‘ for non-fiction and true crime, 🎁 to indicate my ARCs & ❌ for books I DNF’d. Hopefully I won’t have to use that last one a lot.

Least Favorite Book

When Stars Collide (Chicago Stars, #9)

It was my only DNF of the month and I just could not stand the characters.

Favorite Book

Malibu Rising

TJR does it again. I fell in love with the Riva siblings – especially Nina – and I was transported to Sunny ’80s Malibu.

I love how you use emojis to categorise the books. I was curious about The Maidens but now I’m not so sure, maybe if I see it at the library.
I’m in awe of your ability to get through so many books!
