Addicted & Calloway Sisters series by Krista & Becca Ritchie | Series Review Part II

Krista & Becca Ritchie have create an entire universe built around the Calloway sisters – heiress to a soft drink fortune thrust into the limelight as their personal lives and relationships become front page news. In their own words, the sisters say “think of it as one giant family saga with three epic romances. You see everything. . .falling in love and everything that comes with navigating a relationship after an HEA with a large emphasis on friendship and family bonds. “

The Addicted Series (5 Books) follows Lily Calloway and Lo Hale’s romance, while the Calloway Sisters series follow’s Lily’s sisters: Rose Calloway and Daisy Calloway in their respective relationships with Connor Cobalt and Ryke Meadows. Rose and Connor and Daisy and Ryke each have 2 books that focus on their relationships. The entire series concludes with an epilogue novel (Some Kind of Perfect) that contains POVs from all 6 characters: Lily, Lo, Rose, Connor, Ryke and Daisy. And it is recommended to read the series in publication order: Addicted series books 1-3, Callaway Sisters books 1-2, Addicted series books 4-5, Callaway Sisters books 3-5.

In this post I’m going to share my review for the last 5 books across both series.

Thrive (Addicted #4)

It was fun getting to see what happened to Lo and Lily during the first 2 Calloway books. I swear my love for these 2 knows no bounds. The struggles, the pain, the happiness make them all the more human and real and I can’t put these books down.

Addicted After All (Addicted #5)

I just can’t help it – Lily and Lo are such amazing characters and I’ve loved seeing them grow together. Especially Lo, his development so far in the series has been incredible and has cemented him as my favorite character.

Fuel the Fire (Calloway Sister #3)

The personal growth that both Connor and Rose have had is amazing to see. They both have such a huge capacity for love and it so nice to see them able to trust others enough to show it.

Long Way Down (Calloway Sisters #4)

This book felt like it had the most emotional moments of the entire series. Don’t get me wrong, every one of these characters have been through it but there was a lot of headache (and happiness) in this one. Even though Daisy and Ryke’s relationship isn’t my favorite, I can absolutely recognize how perfect they are together.

Some Kind of Perfect (Calloway Sisters #5)

“And then we end—we end where we started.
Just us.
All six of us.”
I’m so excited to wrap up this series because I’ve come to live these characters and their messy, impossible lives. Just seeing this family grow together and support each other through all their heartaches and joys brings me such happiness. I don’t know if I’ll ever love a unit as much as these characters – they feel so genuine, it’s impossible not to love them.

There are also 2 spinoff series: The Bad Reputation duet that follows a couple introduced later in the series (which I’ve read and loved), and the Like Us series (10+ books) that follows the children of the couples and I’m excited to start later this year.
