This week’s topic is a controversal, but favorite topic all about book cover changes! There are some that are great, some we hate, and other that don’t matter that much. I decided to do 5 changes I liked, and 5 I didn’t like! I wanted to include some potentially lesser know cover changes so we’re not all just talking about Throne of Glass (liked), An Ember in the Ashes (didn’t like), Anna and the French Kiss (liked), or The Diviners (didn’t like) Continue reading
I think of this topic less as auto buy authors and more as a list of authors that I automatically have an interest in their upcoming works. Some of these are authors I’ve loved for years, and others are more recent favorites but they all consistently put out books I’m interested in. Continue reading
This week’s topic is all about books on my Summer TBR. Normally, I just list put a bunch of the ARCs that I need to read for the season, but this time I want to only include backlist books instead. So here are 10 books I want to read this summer. Continue reading
This weeks Top 10 Tuesday is a really fun one. We’re picking our favorite books released in the last 10 years, one per year. And it’s so hard! Some years have more choices than others (2012 and 2016 for me) but it’s so cool looking back at when books were released vs when I ended up reading them. I ended up just looking at my favorite shelf on goodreads and looking at the publication date column, so I know my list is wildly incomplete because I forget to shelve books constantly, but it’s still fun nonetheless.
So here are 10 of my favorite books released in the last 10 years! Continue reading
This week’s topic is thefirst 10 books you reviewed. I started actively reviewing books about 3 years ago, primarily on goodreads, and I try to review all books I read – even if it’s just a few sentences. So I’m going to share the first 10 books I reviewed on goodreads, click through to see my horrible reviews!
This week’s topic is a fun one, all about things that make us pick up a book. Now, I’m going to start with the more shallow things and work into subjects and buzzwords.
It’s been forever since I’ve done a recommendations post and this weeks Top 10 Tuesday was an audiobook freebie so it lines up perfectly. I really started to get into audiobooks the last year and I’ve found some new loves, and some new ways to read old favorites as well. Continue reading
Normally for these T10T posts I just put a bunch of the upcoming ARCs i need to read on the list. But this time, I’m going to have a mix of those books, and others that I’ve just been putting off and think are perfect for spring.
This week’s Top 10 Tuesday post is all about standalone books that need a sequel. It was kinda hard coming up with a list for me, because a lot of standalones are contemporary and they wrap up their stories nicely, but there are a few here – and some fantasy – that I think need a sequel! I think books ‘needing’a sequel can fall into two categories: either to help improve the book or you loved it so much a desperately want more. Let’s see which ones these books fall into.
