July was a much better reading month for me than June and I read a lot of books that I really loved!
I’m not going to lie, this month started out really slow reading wise. I felt like I was going to end up with half the amount that I’ve been reading. Which would have been fine if I had been loving those few books, but I hit my stride with binging 2 series and starting a reread that drastically increased my reading, and enjoyment.
Here’s what my reading month looked like – a lot of wins and some misses, but I had a good time.
2021 was equally as uncertain as 2020, but I know the best is ahead of us as we head into 2022 ready to thrive in our lives and in our reading.
This month, I’ve drastically dropped off in the amount I’ve been reading – it’s almost half the amount I’ve done over the past few months, but such is the life of holiday retail work. I’ve still mostly enjoyed what I’ve read and haven’t felt too slumpy, so I’ll take it as a win.
Once again I’ve had an amazingly productive reading month while I’ve slacked on the actual blogging front. But this past month I’ve read way more than I normally do (and really enjoyed most of it) so I will still count that as a win.
