I decided to once again have a yearly TBR for 2023, after having it be successful to varying degrees over the past few years (see: 2020, 2021, & 2022 TBRs). But I think I figured out a process that will work for me actually picking up – and enjoying – these books. So here are 17 books I want to read in 2023.

I’m noramlly not a big TBR person, because I’m usually a mood reader and the self-imposed pressure of reading a certain book in a timeframe that I might not actually want to read stresses me out. Which I why in 2020ย I started (and really enjoyed) doing a yearlong TBR of some books that have been on my shelves for way too long.ย

Today weโre talking about some of my favorite book covers in 2022. Covers are such a big part of the reading experience and are the first thing that grabs me when Iโm looking for new books.
So here’s some of my favorite covers of books I read over the last year in no particular order.ย
I know I’ve been almost completely MIA for most of November and December, but these last two months of the year are always the busiest for me (the life of a retail worker) and I never get as much reading done. But I like getting the negatives out of the way first so here are some of my most disappointing reads and DNFs of 2022.
