~Contacting Me~

*Currently I am NOT accepting requests.*

I am more than happy to receive review copies from authors/agents/publishers. I accept ARCs (Kindle, PDF), and physical  copies. Reviews will be posted on this website, as well as on my Goodreads, twitter, and tumblr accounts, and on retailer sites like Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

I promise that my reviews will be honest, fair, and professional. If for any reason that I did not finish the book entirely, I will inform you.

Please include the following if you are requesting a review:

  • Title
  • Author
  • Release Date
  • Synopsis + link to Goodreads
  • Cover Image (if applicable)
  • Any other relevant information you may have

~Genres I’m Interested In~

Genres I’m interested in reviewing are mostly  Adult & Young Adult novels. I will also read the occasional New Adult or Middle Grade book, but I am far more selective with those age ranges. Other genres/themes that I like:

  • Fantasy (both Urban Fantasy and High Fantasy)
  • Paranormal
  • Contemporary
  • Science Fiction
  • Magical Realism
  • LGBTQ+

Writers of diverse fiction should feel more than free to contact me as I am making an effort to read more diverse books (PoC/LGBTQ+/disabled/#ownvoices etc)!

I will not accept the following genres:

  • Non-fiction
  • Biographies/Autobiographies/Memoirs
  • Christian/Religion/Spirituality
  • Erotica
  • Self-help

If a certain genre or theme/subject is not mentioned above, feel free to contact me and I will consider reading it.

If the book is part of a series, I may need the previous books to be able to give an honest review.

I reserve the right to decline any requests for any reason. If I accept a book for review, you can 100% expect a review coming up on my blog.

I try to read and review every book in a timely manner. Usually, you can expect a review to be uploaded 4 weeks after receiving the book, or if you have a preferred time frame coinciding with the release date please let me know.

Apart from reviews, I’m also interested in hosting giveaways, interviewing authors, guest posts, participating in blog tours etc.

My Rating System

After I review your book, I will send you a direct link to my review on this blog, as well as inform you of which sites my review has been posted.

My review will typically include: cover image, title, author, star rating (see below), release date, quotes, a synopsis in my own words (I can include an official synopsis if preferred), and things I liked/didn’t like in the story.

I will be discussing my personal experience reading this book, whether good or bad. Please be aware that I cannot guarantee a positive review. Negative reviews will be polite, and I will explain my reasons for not enjoying the book. I will be respectful and will not bash the author or their writing.

I use a system of 1-5 stars, including half-stars.

★★★★☆ Really, really good. Only minor complaints.
★★★☆☆ Liked it. There were a few things I didn’t like.
★★☆☆☆ Not for me, but included something I liked. Would still recommend for others.
★☆☆☆☆ Didn’t like at all. Would not recommend.

DID NOT FINISH POLICY:
I do reserve the right to not finish an ARC or review copy, and also not post a review if I do not feel comfortable doing so. I will share my reasons with you privately via email.

***I can also make edits for your book and post them on tumblr and twitter. I usually make between 3-8 edits per book I read, and upload them after completing the book periodically to generate exposure.
